Terry Glenn's Son Says Tom Brady's Tribute To His Fallen Father Was 'More Than Special'

He also shares the fondest memory of his dad.

There has been an outpouring of support and love for Terry Glenn and his family since the former NFL wide receiver was tragically killed in a single-vehicle rollover accident near Dallas on Monday morning. Glenn was 43.

But the sentiments about Glenn posted by Tom Brady really touched the family of the late former wideout — especially his 21-year-old son, Terry Glenn Jr.

On Monday afternoon, the legendary New England Patriots QB took to his Facebook account and posted footage of his first NFL touchdown pass, which was hauled in by Glenn's sure hands in 2001. Accompanying the video were brief but touching words that Brady penned for his fallen friend and former teammate.

While speaking with TMZ Sports on Wednesday, Glenn Jr. said Brady's tribute to his dad "gave me chills, man."

"Tom Brady is probably the best quarterback to ever play the game of football and for my dad to have stepped up in that moment and catch his first touchdown pass ever is more than special to me. It means so much," Glenn Jr. told TMZ. "And for Tom to reach out and post that himself and take that it back to that time just shows how much he cared, just like really, really gave me the chills. It's awesome. I couldn't appreciate it more."

Earlier in the interview, Glenn Jr. explained how his dad always made sure that he was taken care of.

"I had everything that he did not have when he was growing up," he told the website about Glenn. "That's one thing that I will always praise him for and always love him for. He made sure that I had everything that he did not have and I will love him forever for that."

As for a favorite memory about his dad, Glenn told TMZ Sports about the time when he was 12 or 13 and his father surprised him with a limousine, which drove Glenn Jr. and his cousin to a Lil Wayne concert.

Glenn Jr. says he plans on continuing the work his father did with his 83 Kids Foundation for foster kids. Sadly, Glenn told TMZ that he was slated to travel to Texas on Monday to help work with his dad when he learned about the tragic news.

Glenn is survived by his fiancée and five children. Prayers up to him and his family.
