Watch: Why Has Philando Castile's Mom Been Unable to See Her Son's Body?

Here's what she has to say about how she's been treated by officials since his murder.

It's nearing 48 hours since Philando Castile was fatally shot during a routine traffic stop in Falcon Heights, Minnesota, on Wednesday night.

Yet his grieving mother has yet to view her son's body.

"In reality, I have not heard anything about his death," Castile's mother, Valerie Castile, said, as reported by CNN. "I have not been in contact with investigators. No one has reached out to me."

Terrible.

She added: "I was denied access to my son's body. I don't understand why they thought it was important to have needed dental records and fingerprints. I think my eyes could inform them that this is my son."

The Daily Mail is reporting that Castile's mom will be able to see her son's body Friday.

This is too sad.

Meanwhile, Clarence Castile, Philando's uncle, is waiting on progress for a potential arrest.
