Freddie Gray Protests - On Wednesday, demonstrators took to the streets of cities across the country to march in solidarity with the Baltimore uprisings that were sparked by the death of Freddie Gray, who was left with his spine severed after being arrested and riding in a police van. Supporters want to know how Gray was brutalized and are calling for the officers involved to be prosecuted. One protester held a sign reading the name Ross Baptista, a 38-year-old man who was shot and killed by Boston police in 2013 after allegedly opening fire on officers.
