Nicki Minaj is making a huge return to music by tying records. Her new single "Chun-Li"  is currently at No. 8 on the top 10 Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Billboard chart. This achievement puts her neck-and-neck with greatest musical icon of this generation — Mrs. Carter.

According to Billboard, "The rapper secures her 30th top 10 entry on the list and ties Beyoncé for the most visits to the tier by a female artist in the chart’s history." Therefore, one more song and she will break Bey's record, which would make her the seventh-best top 10 total on the chart. 
The Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Billboard chart began in September 1993. Currently, Drake has the most top ten hits with 58, Lil Wayne at 54, Chris Brown at 48, Jay Z at 35, Usher at 32 and T.I. at 31.
Tying Bey's record is a huge accomplishment, considering lately she has had some ups and downs that have played out on social media.  She was beefing with Cardi B, but they recently hugged it out, her SNL performance of "Chun-Li" was accused of cultural appropriation and her new album Queen was supposed to be released in June, but was pushed back to August. In addition, earlier this week, she stressed to women to know their worth, writing on Twitter,  "I’ve been proposed to 3 times; asked by 4 boyfriends to have their child. Being emotionally, mentally, or physically abused just to crack a fake smile on the gram."
Sounds like the album Queen is going to be packed with some raw truth-telling from the queen of the Barbz.
