STREAM EXCLUSIVE ORIGINALS

Meanwhile, Cardi B Just Set Another Record...

The Ws just keep piling up.

Cardi B is on a non-stop win train.

Her debut album, Invasion of Privacy went gold just hours after it was released and now, Apple Music is claiming that Cardi’s LP set a new type of record.

On Friday (April 13), the streaming service announced that Cardi’s album is the most streamed by a female artist in a single week. According to their figures, Apple says Privacy racked up more than 100 million streams worldwide, shattering the previous record.

To understand the magnitude of those figures, by mid-week, the streams of Cardi’s LP had already more than doubled those of Taylor Swift’s Reputation, which previously held the record.

Currently, Invasion of Privacy holds the No. 5 spot on Apple Music’s worldwide chart of most streamed albums ever.

In other numbers, Privacy has caused over 2.6 million tweets, giving her three million more followers (up 85 percent from last year). Her “I Like It” song with Latin musicians Bad Bunny and J. Balvin is currently the number 1 most streamed song off the album worldwide.

Congrats, Cardi! The new album is a banger.
