Meek Mill Is Apparently A 'Danger To The Community,' According To A Judge

What is this judge smoking?

A federal judge has reportedly denied Meek Mill’s motion for bail, according to The NY Daily News. Judge Genece Brinkley claimed the Philly native was a threat to others and should remain in lock up while an appeal of his probation violation sentencing is pending.

Judge Brinkley reportedly made the decision on Dec. 4, alleging the rapper is a “danger to the community” and a “flight risk,” TMZ reports. Brinkley also questioned the validity of his clean drug tests, suggesting he might’ve used something called a “Fast Flush” to detox his system.

Meek’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, filed a motion for bail earlier in November 2017. Tacopina has also filed an appeal on behalf of the rapper on the grounds that Brinkley was biased against Meek. They claimed Brinkley was unable to be objective in the rapper’s case after he refused to give her a shout out on a Boyz II Men single. In light of Brinkley’s latest decision, Tacopina says that it “continues her long pattern of unfair treatment” of Meek.

As Meek continues to fight the vicious justice system, a number of influencers and hip-hop artists, including Jay-Z, Trey Songz and Yo Gotti to continue show support for the rapper on social media and live events.
