Sometimes interactions with fans don’t turn out as planned for artists.

Just ask Iggy Azalea. Video recently surfaced of the Australian rapper being approached by a fan who at first seemed happy to see her but then, things quickly changed.

“Are you Iggy Azalea?” the fan asked, to which she confirmed she was. “I’d just like to thank you so much for ruining hip-hop.” The smile on her face after the initial question then seemed to turn to annoyed as the fan walked away.

Ouch.

The interaction came just after Azalea announced her breakup with Los Angeles Lakers forward Nick “Swaggy P” Young. In an Instagram post she confirmed rumors that he was untrustworthy even though she claims she still loves him.

“Unfortunately although I love Nick and have tried and tried to rebuild my trust in him — It’s become apparent in the last few weeks I am unable to,” she wrote. “I genuinely wish Nick the best. It’s never easy to part ways with the person you planned your entire future with, but futures can be rewritten and as of today mine is a blank page.”
