Mos Def Returns With ‘Sensei on the Block’
Mos Def just dropped some heat.
The Brooklyn MC, now known as Yasiin Bey, kicked it back to his old moniker to remind us that he’s still a “Sensei on the Block.” Mos definitely gets busy on the track, produced by Ski Beatz, whose resume includes work with Jay Z and Curren$y.
Even though it's a technically new release, "Sensei on the Block" sounds like a classic Mos record. The lyrics are spotless, with just a pinch of trash talk. The rhyme scheme is on point too, and he delivers such a crisp flow that it’s absolute perfection.
