Eminem Announces Shady XV Album
Less than a year after The Marshal Mathers LP 2, Eminem is readying another album. On Nov. 28, Em will release Shady XV, a double-disc compilation split between his new music and his classics.
He confirmed the release on Twitter Sunday (Aug. 24) evening, writing, "Yes it's official…#SHADYXV Black Friday," along with a link to a promo video. The project features the Shady Records roster of D 12, Slaughterhouse, Yelawolf, Bad Meets Evil and other guest collaborators, Billboard reports.
Shady XV's first single, "Guts Over Fear," featuring Sia, debuts today. A snippet of the song aired in the trailer for the new Denzel Washington film, The Eqauliazer.
Em clued in fans to the album in Detroit this past weekend. He wore a T-shirt with the words "Shady XV" for the last stop on the Rihanna-assisted Monster Tour.
The 41-year-old MC has doubled down on album releases before. Both his Relapse and Recovery LPs came within a year of each other.
