Safaree Has a Price on What It Will Take to End His Gripe With Nicki Minaj

Crunching the numbers.

In another interview with music producer and Love and Hip Hop Hollywood reality star Safaree, the ghostwriting bones he’s picked with Nicki Minaj over the years have been dug up yet again.

And though Safaree has since pulled his spat with The Pinkprint femcee from legal matters, he does have a price tag dangling from the ghostwriting claims that would finish the dispute definitively.

Stopping by with ThisIs50, Safaree discussed his recent commentary on Nicki’s rap beef with Remy Ma and, of course, what he believes to be his just due for allegedly penning some of her former rhymes on The Wendy Williams Show. Of the appearance on the talk show, however, he expressed just one regret about Wendy’s question of how much he felt Nicki should shell out for his supposed behind-the-scenes work.

“Like, when she was like, ‘How much?,’ I wish I’d have said, ‘$2 million,” he said. “Like, I know what’s really there. You can take $2 million and say, ‘Here. Live your life, and leave me alone.’ I wish I’d have said that.”

Considering the tension that boiled over before Safaree’s now-dismissed lawsuit with Ms. Minaj, it’s without a doubt that a settlement between the two was desperately needed. According to tweets in May 2016, Nicki claimed that she was being hassled with several emails from Safaree, from which her now former-boyfriend Meek Mill had to step in and ask him to stop. She had also been served with legal papers with a lawsuit from Safaree alleging physical and emotional abuse. Now that the case has been dropped and both have remained separated on their respective career paths, hopefully Safaree can still find a way to bury the $2 million hatchet with Nicki once and for all.

Check out his price for a final truce in the video below.
