Pharrell Williams and his wife Helen Lasichanh have been at the center of some pregnancy rumors recently and decided to break the news last night (September 22) while on their way to a dinner celebrating their new collaborative fragrance for Chanel.

As confirmed to People, the singer/producer and his leading lady shared that they are expecting their second child.

The couple, who wed in October 2013, are excited to continuing growing their family, with their son Rocket Ayer soon to turn eight years old.

During a 2014 interview with Oprah, the proud father explained the thoughtful meaning behind his son’s name, saying that his son was destined to succeed and rise above challenges.

“In the same way the Indians named their children after a force or animal or element,” Williams shared. “We named him after a man-made machine that was meant to go up, meant to ascend.”

We’re excited to find out which artistic direction the couple will go in the naming of their second child.
