Tiny: My New Music Is Not a Publicity Stunt

Singer addresses marriage drama, her song "WTFYGD," and those pesky Floyd Mayweather affair rumors.

After releasing her first solo track, "What the F--k You Gon' Do," Tiny is ready to have her final say in the rumors about her marriage. While promoting her new jam, Tiny shut down the noise that she and T.I. have split and that her heartfelt single is just for show. Instead, she revealed, the two (who've been together since 2001) are trying to make their four-year marriage work.

"We're working at it," Tiny told Dish Nation. "We’re working hard."

The confirmation that one of hip hop's favorite couples isn't divorcing comes days after Tip professed his love for Tiny with the release of his song "Stay" on Wednesday (July 23), a day after Tiny dropped her "WTFYGD," which peaked on the iTunes charts at No. 5 just hours after it dropped.

While the Harrises are clearly speaking to one another through their new music, Tiny said the songs are not publicity stunts, but "straight from [their] hearts."

However, her marriage wasn't the only thing Tiny cleared up. She also spoke on whether or not she believes Floyd said that he had slept with her.

"He didn't say that 'cause that never happened," she said. He's never been in a room with me by himself. Anytime he's been around me, its been people ... so I couldn't imagine him saying, 'Yeah! I did that!'"

Tiny and Floyd were friends before she married T.I., but for Tiny it’s unfortunate that hanging out with male friends could ignite rumors of infidelity.

"It’s tough [being friends with Floyd]," Tiny said. "If you ain’t doing nothing. It's tough that you can’t be out and take a picture with somebody. If you are not hiding nothing, what is it that you think I'm doing? I'm out here!"

The drama between T.I., Tiny and Floyd began all the way back in May, with a brawl between Tip and the boxer that left Tiny in the middle. Now that she has cleared the air, hopefully the Family Hustle stars can focus on their marriage.
