Here’s How Chance the Rapper Really Feels About Rihanna’s ‘ANTI’ Album

Oh, and he says it's not up for debate either.

It looks like the Rihanna Navy weren’t the only ones with a bitter taste of a non-ANTI Grammy nomination for the Bajan princess in their mouths.

And despite Chance the Rapper’s celestial Grammys history-making achievement and an outstanding year in music, the Chicago kid’s success has not blinded him from his industry counterparts that he feels may not have been afforded their just due.

So on Thursday (Dec. 8), Chance made sure to make 140-character note of it. Tweeting his displeasure of Rihanna’s ANTI album not receiving its props, the “No Problem” rapper definitely had a problem with the way it was overlooked.

“Rihanna’s ANTI is underrated,” he tweeted. “Don’t ‘@’ [mention] me.”

Of seemingly popular opinion, his commentary was then followed up by nods from other notables like Alex Tumay, the audio engineer frequenting heavyweight hip-hop artists such as Gucci Mane, T.I., Kanye West and Travis Scott. Fuse TV also threw in a some commentary, tweeting Young Chano their Top 20 Albums of 2016, where RiRi is crowned with the No. 1 seat for ANTI.

On the other hand, Rihhanna apparently hasn’t allowed anyone’s overpassing of the album to ruffle her feathers. Thanking the Grammys for celebrating her musical success in other categories instead, she recently reminded everyone to “stop putting Black women against each other” when her work was compared to Beyonce’s Grammy-monopolizing Lemonade nominations.

Even still, the “Work” songstress has got some heavy support in her corner rooting for more recognition of the project.
