UPDATE: Juelz Santana Will Reportedly Turn Himself In After Fleeing Newark Airport Over Discovered Firearm

Authorities have been looking for the dipset emcee.

UPDATE:

Juelz Santana will turn himself into authorities Sunday (March 11) after he fled the Newark Airport when TSA agents found a loaded gun in the Harlem rapper's luggage on Friday.

New York CW affiliate WPIX reports today that “PAPD detectives have been searching for him” and “police from Totowa, New Jersey said they were told the rapper will be turning himself in Sunday morning.”

The Dipset member could face some legal troubles upon returning to the airport. According to the TSA, those traveling with firearms from New Jersey should have their weapons unloaded and packed inside a "hard sided" case.

Juelz Santana probably wishes he would’ve better checked through his belongings before trying to board an airplane.

On Friday (March 9), the Dipset emcee reportedly fled from the Newark Liberty International Airport after agents from the Transportation Security Administration discovered a firearm in his luggage.

NBC New York is reporting that the incident happened at around 6 pm, when Juelz was going through a routine screening. TSA claims that after they found the gun, the Harlem native left the airport, leaving all of his belongings behind, and was later seen getting into a taxi.

Weapons, obviously, aren’t permitted on flights and the possession of such in an airport can result in fines as high as $9,800. Typically, incidents involving firearms found in luggage don’t result in arrests but have occasionally.

Damn, Bandana. What was you thinking?

It’s unclear whether law enforcement is looking for Juelz. He might have to return to the airport though if he wants any of his stuff back.
