Tyrese Gibson Slams Comedian Over Sex Allegations

Wild N' Out's Spanky Hayes trashed for starting casting-couch rumor.

Tyrese Gibson slammed a comedian and declared the end of his career for starting a rumor about casting for the 2001 film Baby Boy. Spanky Hayes, from Nicki Cannon's Wild N' Out, says Gibson got the lead by performing a sex act on director John Singleton.

Hayes told the story during a radio interview. He claims that he and Gibson were both up to play the role of “Jody.” Singleton asked both men for oral sex — according to Hayes.

Gibson filed a response in a funny video shot from his Southern California mansion. The 35-year-old actor/singer trashes Hayes for causing his own demise. “What man wakes up and says, ‘You know what, today I want to ruin my career’?” he asks, draped in a fur blanket.

He adds, “You know you done f**ked up, right?”

Hayes also targeted Morris Chestnut, leading Gibson to believe the comedian has “dark skin issues.”

“We got a lot of respect in this town and not because we compromised our sexuality or our spirituality to get it,” he says. “We actually woke up and did something that you wouldn’t know too much about, which is called 'doing the work.'”
