Olympic Snowboarders Are Even Screaming #FreeMeekMill From South Korea

#FreeMeekMill is going international.

The movement to free Meek Mill is apparently going international. The Philly rapper was once again the topic of discussion after a Slovenian snowboarder showed support for Meek at the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea.

Tit Stante didn’t perform well on the snowboarding course, but he still managed to leave an impression on viewers. Following his performance, live TV cameras captured the athlete holding up his snowboard, which had #FreeMeekMill written with a Sharpie on it.

Stante isn't the only athlete to protest against Meek Mill’s harsh probation violation sentencing. American athletes including NBA star James Harden and the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles team have also shown support for Meek.

As previously reported, Meek was sentenced to two to four years in prison for violating his parole. The sentencing stemmed from a March 2017 arrest when he assaulted two pedestrians at a local airport in St. Louis. An investigation has reportedly been launched in order to look into the conduct of the judge handling his case. There have also been several motions filed on behalf of the rapper in hopes of getting his case thrown out.
