Jamie Foxx to Sing National Anthem at Mayweather-Pacquiao Fight

Grammy Award-winning singer lends more star power to mega bout.

Depicting the role of Mike Tyson in an upcoming biopic isn't the only big boxing role that's in Jamie Foxx's future.

TMZ Sports is reporting that the actor/singer has been tabbed to sing the national anthem at the Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Manny Pacquiao fight this Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Sources confirmed with the website that Foxx jumped at the chance to accept the honor of singing the national anthem before the opening bell of the huge May 2 mega bout.

Foxx once sang "America the Beautiful" before Pacquiao defeated Shane Mosley in May 2011.

Now, the question is which artists will be leading Mayweather and Pacquiao out to the ring? With 50 Cent and Mayweather on the same page, perhaps Fif will be there. Justin Bieber as well?
