Drake’s Son, Adonis, Makes A Rare Appearance On Social Media For His 2nd Birthday
Drake‘s son Adonis just turned 2 years old!
Though he’s typically extremely private about his son, the 32-year-old rapper couldn’t wait to send a birthday shout out to his baby boy who celebrated his big milestone on Friday (Oct. 11).
“Happy Birthday King,” the Champagne Papi captioned an Instagram photo showing off the massive gold-colored birthday balloons that spelled out his son's name.
Giving us a rare glimpse of the birthday boy, Adonis’ mother, Sophie Brussaux, shared a photo of herself breastfeeding her son along with a sweet birthday message.
“Son of my life, being your mom is the most beautiful thing in the world,” the 29-year-old artist and former adult film star captioned the photo.
Sadly, Adonis’ face cannot be seen with the light filter placed on the photo, but going off Drake’s description of his son, we know he’s a cutie.
“[He has] crazy blue eyes — baby blue eyes,” Drake said during an episode of LeBron James‘ unscripted HBO series The Shop last October.
Although Adonis lives with his mother in France, Drake has been very vocal about how excited he is to be a father and his goal to co-parent with Sophia to ensure his son feels loved.
“I’m just really excited to be a great father,” he said. “No matter what happens, I have unconditional love for the mother of my child because I want him to love his mother and I have to project that energy.”
In case you didn’t know, Drake used his double album Scorpion, which was released last June, to confirm the long-rumored speculations that he fathered a child.
