Monica Lewinsky thanked Beyoncé, Eminem and Nicki Minaj for keeping her name in the mix over the last decade or so during her speech at Forbes’'s “Under 30 Summit” this week. Lewinsky sarcastically acknowledged the trio and a list of other artists who have name-dropped her in lyrics.

“Some of you might be asking, ‘Who the hell is she, this Monica?’ or ‘What is she doing here?’ Or maybe even, ‘What is she doing in all of those rap lyrics?’" joked Lewinsky. “Thank you Beyoncé and Eminem and Nicki Minaj, and Kid Cudi, Lil B and Lil Wayne, and of course G-Eazy. But let’s not forget Jeezy, and all the rest.”

She then gave a “brief recap” of her story and spoke about Internet bullies. Lewinsky, who joined Twitter this week, sees herself as the poster child for cyber bullying. “I was patient zero. The first person to have their reputation completely destroyed worldwide via the Internet,” she said of the sex scandal with President Bill Clinton that turned her into a public figure. “There was no Facebook, Twitter or Instagram back then. But there were gossip, news and entertainment websites replete with comment sections, and emails could be forwarded.”

Lewinsky's comments didn’t sit well with Parry Aftba, president of the nonprofit StopCyberbullying. “I find it a bit insulting to the people who have been cyber bullied to have Monica Lewinsky step out and say she's the poster-child for cyber bullying," Aftba said. "Look at her interviews — it's all about Monica, She's setting us back years. She doesn't know what she's talking about."
