The Warm Up: Frank Ocean Teases New Song 'Memrise'

Keeping you informed of the latest news in music, celeb and pop culture.

Face it, we're all culture vultures in one way or another, so it's only right that BET.com brings you #TheWarmUp on the daily tip. And remember that keeping it buck doesn't mean that shade is being thrown. (Word to Nicki.) We just like to keep it honest and real when it comes to our extended family. Read on for the hottest, most shocking moments of the past 24 hours.
Frank Ocean has been silent for about a year, but this morning he released a snippet of a song that he has titled "Memrise." Lyrically and sonically, it's typical of the singer-songwriter. Listen to the song and check out the lyrics here on his official Tumblr page.
Ne-Yo's track "She Knows" featuring Juicy J is one of our current favorites, and we must say that the T-Pain remix of the song is also amazing. Trust us when we say that the king of Auto-Tune made it all his. Listen to the "T-mix" here

— Although Rihanna has kept the details of her upcoming album quite mum, last night she previewed a track on Instagram of her singing, "Ain't none of this s**t promised, ain't none of this promised/ain't none of this s**t certain, ain't none of this certain." To be honest, it sounds like a song that Drake wrote with 40 on the beat, so hearing the finished product will definitely be a treat.
— Congrats to Alfonso Ribeiro, of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air fame, for winning Season 9 of Dancing With the Stars! We've watched him show out and reveal his talents as a dancer to an audience that may not have known him as the "tap dance kid" growing up and, well, we pretty much knew that he had it in the bag from week one. Ha! Glad to see him take that Mirror Ball trophy home. Now, about him coming back to TV... we can wish, can't we?
— 'Tis the season to give back to your community, so in true stand up style, Ludacris, Big Sean, T.I. and more are giving back to their hometowns through food and clothing donations. These are definitely leaders who we need to follow during this holiday season.

— Just when we thought that we wouldn't hear much about Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo's relationship, which, by the way, is now a thing of the past, the songstress released a remix of Drake's "How Bout Now." All we'll say is that the most telling line happened in the beginning when she sings, "Remember when you broke your neck and I washed your back for ya?" And with that, Ms. Sparks dropped the mic.
— After the world learned of Darren Wilson not being indicted for the murder of Ferguson, Mo., teenager Mike Brown, people flooded social media with their pain and confusion, including artists. One star that took to Instagram to express herself was Solange. The newlywed and mother revealed that her upcoming album will be about race because, as she said, "Thing about my people though....we don't stay broken." To see and read her entire post, click here

— If we want to say that someone broke the Internet, then we need to give Beyoncé that title. It doesn't matter what you're doing at what time, when the queen drops some heat, you stop everything no matter where you are and get into whatever newness (for lack of a better term) she has blessed you with. On Friday night, she dropped the party anthem "7/11." The video is simple and clearly filmed on an iPhone, but it has already received 20 million views on YouTube.
Big Sean and Ariana Grande aren't shy about their love anymore and we love it! Over the weekend, the Detroit rapper shared a photo on Instagram of him and his lady extra cozy and kissing. We don't know about you, but it's feeling more and more like their love is on top and that this will last for quite a while.
— Shout out to the super talented New York Giant Odell Beckham Jr. for one of the most amazing and gravity defying plays that anyone has ever seen last night against the Cowboys. Big Blue didn't walk away with a win, but OBJ definitely just made a big name for himself. Salute. Watch the "Greatest Catch Ever" here.
