Fake News! Here's Why Keyshia Cole Trolled The Internet By Faking Her Pregnancy
ICYMI: Fans were elated when Keyshia Cole posted a photo on Instagram with the caption:"#preggoinmyfashionnovafit."
Instantly, fans jumped on the opportunity to send their congratulatory comments to the 'Heaven Sent' singer—expect she actually wasn't pregnant.
The mother-of-one took to her Instagram to set the record straight: "I KINDA APOLOGIZE for #trolling yesterday, telling y'all I was #Preggo."
Turns out, the 36-year-old songstress was actually just trolling perpetual body shamers who said she looked like she gained weight. Instead of a callback, she posted the photo with assuming hashtag as a form of sarcasm.
"Y'all need to stop body shaming me and saying that I'm pregnant EVERY OTHER DAY!!! Like seriously, it hurts my feelings," she continued in her confession post.
The singers IG has since gone private.
Assuming that a woman is pregnant because of weight gain is sad and quite rude, frankly.
On the bright side, Keyshia was excited about all the support she had when everyone thought she was pregnant.
"Thought it was sweet that you all were excited about the news tho."
