Update, September 28, 6:55PM:

Meek Mill aired out some of his grievances this evening, taking to his Instagram to share the receipts that just a week ago, things were totally cool between him and Beanie Sigel.

Captioning what appears to be a screenshot of a text sent to him from Sigel, Meek wrote, “All good a week ago!”

He then addressed that Sigel mentioned Lil Uzi Vert during their text exchange and reassured Lil Uzi directly, saying, “don’t mind that shot, that’s how n****s talk when you winning.”

Following this, the rapper expressed, in all capital letters, “ONE MIN THEY TALKING LIKE THIS BEHIND CLOSED DOORS THEN THEY TALKING LIKE THAT? I CANT BELIEVE "n#%gas" went out like that.”

He then added, “THIS WHY I GOTTA CHANGE MY NUMBER LOL.”

The Philadelphia ended his response by saying that he feels as though others are far too concerned with what’s happening on their cell phone screens and as a result, have an inability to think thoroughly.

Beanie Sigel has come forward to offer his personal thoughts regarding why there is seemingly permanent bad blood between Meek Mill and Drake.

The common denominator among the two rappers? According to Sigel, all of their woes can be traced back to one source: Nicki Minaj.

“Drake don’t gotta live by the rules we live by, or [the rules] you claim to live by,” Beanie Sigel said during an interview with Taxstone. “He’s not a street n****a. He’s not from the streets, so he don’t gotta live by that code. You can’t look at that man in a different light because he got armed security or whoever he got. He’s the f***ing biggest thing in music, n***a! A pop star. Who cares if he not writing that s**t? That n***a saying some s**t. I don’t give a f**k. It’s not taking away from your money or any of that.”

Following Sigel detailing his thoughts about Drake as a person so deeply rooted in contemporary music, he went on to explain what he feels is the real reason Drizzy and Meek Mill may never see eye to eye.

“So what’s the real reason why [Meek] was mad at Drake?” Sigel proposes. “In my point of view? You was laying in the bed one night, you rolled over and you looked at her and you asked her, ‘You f**k that n***a?’ And she ain’t answer you in the way you wanted to.”

That’s quite the theory, Beanie. 

Sigel recently inserted himself into another one of Meek Mill’s battles by involving himself in the making of the Philadelphia rapper’s diss track against the Game. He and the Game spoke on the situation and made amends, but Sigel still got punched during Diddy’sBad Boy Reunion show.

Perhaps Sigel may want to be a little less vocal about being in Meek’s corner until things calm down.
