Back in September, Coolio found himself facing serious charges when TSA discovered he had brought a gun onboard a flight. 

As reported, today (October 26) the judge overseeing the case has made his ruling. But he didn't deliver his verdict without throwing shade at the rapper's signature hairstyle.

Prior to hearing his sentencing after pleading guilty to possession of a concealed weapon, Coolio had to first endure the judge's snarky commentary about his look.

"You've got a different little hairstyle," the judge said to the rapper, interrupting his explanation of the details of the plea deal. "It suits you, I guess."

Talk about cold! Given the seriousness of the situation, Coolio took the comment like a man, choosing not to offer a rebuttal to the judge's remark and instead politely smiling.

During his court appearance, Coolio was dressed to the nines in a purple velvet suit and, of course, was sporting his trademark braided pigtails.
