Kanye West Is Up To Something: Hosts Secret Art Exhibit

These sculptures should look familiar.

While Kanye West possibly had a night in last night holed away working (August 26), his wifey and company held it down for him at an exclusive art exhibit showcasing some recent artwork that should look familiar.

In a new exhibition taking place somewhere in Los Angeles, West’s infamous naked sculptures from his “Famous” music video were seen on display last night at a secret gallery location.

Taking to Twitter to spill the news that the event was happening, Kim Kardashian posted that she was on her way there, and from there pictures began to surface from the elusive and likely spontaneous spectacle.

The video, naturally, got everyone talking when it first came out, with Chris Brown being one of the first to salute West’s latest creative endeavor. The video depicted an array of naked interpretations of celebrities, including Amber RoseTaylor SwiftBill Cosby and more, and was an ode to Vincent Desiderio's "Sleep" painting.

The art exhibit featured a life-sized replication of the images found in West’s controversial music video, but according to one SnapChat user’s interpretation the replicas appeared to be breathing.

West himself was not present, save for checking in on the event via video chat.

Check out some snaps and tweets detailing last night’s curious art exhibition below.
