T.I. and Jeezy Turn Back the Clock in New Music Video

Rappers star in 12-minute mini-movie set in the 1960s for "G S**t."

T.I. and Jeezy turn the clock back to the 1960s as a pair of alcohol smugglers who run a nightclub in the music video for “G S**t,” the latest single off Paperwork. The 12-minute mini-movie premiered on REVOLT yesterday (Jan. 28), and is helmed by Chris Robinson, who directed Tip in his first film, ATL, nearly a decade ago.

Co-starring Wood Harris, and singer/songwriter Rotimi, “G S**t” opens with Tip’s character getting baptized. As the micro flick develops, the Hustle Gang leader comes out as the more levelheaded compared to Jeezy’s hotheaded character. Tip is the guy who tries to keep the peace between his business partner and a pesky cop they're bribing to keep quiet about the side business until he ends up beating to death their friend, played by Rotimi.

The film was close to a year in the making, and according to Tip he wanted to show fans something different. “We’re gonna give you a slice of life that you’ve probably never been able to experience before,” the 34-year-old told REVOLT. “You can live vicariously through us.”

The music video won’t be the last collaboration between Jeezy and Tip. The Atlanta rappers are working on a joint album, of which they have recorded more than a handful of tracks.
