Draya Michele Shares Her Poolside Style Tips
Draya Michele’s relationship with NFL star and ex-fiancé Orlando Scandrick may have hit a rough patch, but the reality TV star has plenty of other things to keep her busy. Namely, her swimwear line, Mint Swim, which just made its first appearance at Los Angeles Swim Week. Michele recently sat down with StyleBlazer to talk about her swimsuit styling tips and preparing her brand for the big leap.
“Even though I’ve been in business for four years I’m still a newcomer to the industry so preparation is one of the hardest parts,” she said. “It’s about getting all of the pieces in the collection organized and making sure they have the look that you’re going for.”
This year, Mint Swim expanded its line to include plus sizes and children’s swimwear with plans to add more styles to those categories, as well as begin offering designs for the fellas.
Michele, who’s no stranger to turning heads at the pool while rocking the “Bree” halter bandeau bikini in the photo above, also shared her style tips for looking hawt this summer.
“Wedge heel sandals are the only suitable shoe for all beachside or poolside activities,” she said.
And if you thought jewelry was better left at home when you’re off to the beach, think again.
“The best jewelry to wear with a swimsuit are gold bangle bracelets and gold hoop earrings,” Michele added.
