Say Goodbye: Find Out Why Raven-Symoné Vows to Leave America

The View co-host is raising some eyebrows with her latest statement.

Time to throw Raven-Symoné a bon voyage party. The outspoken talk show host made an "election confession" on The View yesterday, vowing that "if any Republican gets nominated, I’m gonna move to Canada with my entire family. Is that bad?”
Well, the Republican National Convention begins on July 18 and by July 21, one of the five Republicans running for president will be nominated, so that gives Raven just over five months to pack her stuff and get Canadian citizenship.
In case you think she's kidding about this, Raven made it clear to her incredulous co-hosts that she's dead serious.  “I already have my ticket … No, I literally bought my ticket, I swear," she said.

Though one of the other ladies suggests she becomes The View's Canadian correspondent, more than likely Raven will just have to find a new job.
The timing might be right, though, considering her future with The View is pretty uncertain. While the long-running talk show has been renewed for a 20th season — with Candi Carter, it's first Black executive producer, at the helm — there are rumblings that Raven may not make it back to the table as her controversial remarks continually rub people the wrong way.
