Natalia Bryant Injures Her Finger During Ski Trip With Vanessa

Just like her father Kobe in 2016.

Natalia Bryant and Vanessa Bryant recently enjoyed a post-Christmas ski trip. Now a small mishap during the vacation is reminding the 17-year-old of her father, Kobe Bryant.

Vanessa Bryant posted a video yesterday (Dec. 31) showing Natalia in the midst of getting treated for a swollen finger as well as her wrist.

In the accompanying caption, Vanessa explained what happened along with tying it into her late husband. “Sprained finger & wrist (tbd until swilling goes down)” she wrote. “This is payback for making fun of daddy’s fingers.”

She continued on, detailing Natalia getting her finger pulled for the healing process and thanking the people that offered them fast help. “So grateful for good people coming through for us and helping us out when we need them most,” she said. “Thx for checking on my Nani’s pinky finger and cracking my back.”

In one of his last injuries before his retirement, Kobe dislocated his right middle finger during a game against the San Antonio Spurs in 2016. Moments after the dislocation, his finger was popped back into place by medical staff.

“He’s a tough hombre,” said then-Lakers coach Byron Scott at the time.

Like father, like daughter.
