Too Far? Piers Morgan Blames Kanye's Breakdown on the Kardashians

He uses Lamar Odom as an example.

Talk about kicking a man while he's down.
Piers Morgan has never been a fan of the Kardashian-Jenner-Wests, but his hit piece on Kanye West just one day after the rapper was hospitalized for mental issues took things too far. The outspoken journalist, who last anyone checked doesn't have a medical degree, nevertheless decided to take it upon himself to diagnose West with "fame addiction."
In an opinion piece for the Daily Mail, Morgan goes on to write: "Not content with being one of the world’s most famous entertainers, he set out to seduce and marry Kim Kardashian, thus deliberately implanting himself right into the heart of a 24/7 reality television goldfish bowl."

Morgan went on to blame the Kardashians for Kanye's erratic behavior — full stop. "But he couldn’t stop himself, because in Kim Kardashian and her family he identified a bunch of people just as fame-hungry as him," he writes, seemingly refusing to acknowledge the role actual mental health issues may have had to play, not to mention his breakdown comes just a couple of weeks after the death anniversary of his mother, Donda West. For Morgan, who has been called a sexist more than once, Kanye's meltdown is entirely the fault of Kim Kardashian.
"Life isn’t about creating yet another headline to prove how famous and successful you are," Morgan concluded, without a single hint of irony. "It’s about what you do behind the headlines, away from the cameras and public gaze."
Thanks for the white mansplaining, Piers. We owe you one.
