Amber Rose and her ex Wiz Khalifa's mother, Katie Wimbush-Polk, have been at odds for some time. Katie sued her former daughter-in-law for defamation earlier this year. 

With months passing since the initial report was made, a judge has made a ruling.

According to TMZ, Wimbush-Polk's case was thrown out of a Pennsylvania court by a judge who claimed that, though Rose's alleged statement was insulting, it was neither extreme nor outrageous, two proponents that are required in order to prove emotional distress.

This all dates back to Wimbush-Polk's initial suit where Rose allegedly called her an unfit mother, blaming her for the "Black and Yellow" rapper's sibling's death.

The judge ruled that "mere insults, indignities, threats, annoyances, petty oppressions, and other trivialities" do not justify claims of emotional distress. The judge further added that this was nothing more than a disagreement between former in-laws.
