Say What? - With the meteoric rise of unjust Black killings by the hands of police officers, we have seen the birth of the Black Lives Matter movement. Unfortunately, we've also become quick to learn that not all Black individuals co-sign with that mantra, with several Black public figures in particular instead chanting All Lives Matter. Marissa Johnson, a Black Lives Matter leader, clearly explained what the new hashtag means today, saying, "All lives matter is a new racial slur." With everyone from Fantasia to Raven-Symoné advocating for "all lives," the list is pretty extensive.
