The ugly divorce case between Keshia Knight Pulliam and her ex, Ed Hartwell, is getting even nastier as the former child star is now asking that the judge use someone unexpected to testify.

According to TMZ, Pulliam and her legal team are asking to use Dr. Bennet Omalu as an expert witness in the case. Dr. Omalu is most known as the real-life doctor who inspired the Will Smith-led film Concussion.

Hartwell, however, recently filed legal documents in Fulton County, Georgia, asking that the judge deny this motion as he claims Dr. Omalu never treated him.

The former NFL star went on to claim that the actress is playing dirty by introducing Dr. Omalu to the case in the final hour. He added that, strangely enough, Dr. Omalu also never examined or interviewed him and has not reviewed his medical records.

This all comes on the heels of Hartwell initially filing for divorce from the former Cosby Show star, who quickly shot back by asking that he undergo a mental evaluation as, according to her, he wanted to kill their unborn child.
