Time’s Up: Did Kelly Ripa Just Get Serious Revenge on Michael Strahan?

You won't believe the latest developments.

Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan tried to play nice on LIVE! With Kelly and Michael this morning, but viewers could feel the shade. Now, the drama continues. Strahan was supposed to stay throughout the summer, but he will be out in two weeks! Was this a directive from Kelly?

According to TMZ, sources close to the morning show reveal Michael's last day was pushed up to Friday, May 13. Apparently, an internal memo was also circulated to the show's staff this morning, the same day Kelly returned to the show after a brief hiatus following the news of Michael's departure.

The memo, obtained by Us Weekly, reads, "After meeting with the producers of both Live and Good Morning America, and after speaking with Kelly and Michael, we have decided on a plan that best advantages both shows for the future. To that end, Michael's last day on Live will be Friday, May 13, which not only gives the show the chance to have an appropriate send off for him during the May sweeps, but to also immediately give Kelly and the producers an opportunity to begin the on-air search for a new co-host."

Strahan isn't scheduled to join GMA full time until September, so it's going to be a long summer. We'll probably never know for sure if Kelly had anything to do with Michael's early departure.
