According to TMZ, Gordon, 25, sat down with the famed television personality and former psychologist for what he thought was a taped interview. He later found out that it was an intervention organized by Phil and his mother, Michelle.

Michelle began to worry after noticing a suspicious tweet that her son posted on the eve of Bobbi Kristina Brown's 22nd birthday earlier this week. It read, "I'm so hurt I wanna do myself in, I know I have to [be] strong."

In the emotional episode, which is set to air on March 11, Gordon reveals that he has been suffering from "severe pain, mental anguish and panic attacks" ever since his girlfriend's near-fatal bathtub incident. His mother added, in addition to being depressed and abusing drugs, her son has been feeling guilty over the death of Whitney Houston since he was present when she died and even tried to perform CPR, but to no avail.

No word as to where Gordon will be seeking treatment or for how long.
