Camille Cosby’s Worst Nightmare Just Came True

Bad news for the wife of the TV icon.

Bill Cosby's wife, Camille, is gearing up to do what she's dreaded since the beginning of her husband's scandal: be deposed while under oath. The comedian's lawyers have been trying to prevent this from happening for a while.

Page Six reports the former TV dad's attorneys also filed a motion to stop the deposition from moving forward, and the plaintiff's lawyers filed arguments against the motion. They claimed the 71-year-old "has no involvement with the facts or allegations underlying this case." However, on Sunday night, U.S. District Judge Mark Mastroianni denied the motion, ruling that Cosby will be deposed today.

Camille is scheduled to be questioned by the lawyer who represents the women Cosby allegedly sexually assaulted. This is believed to be the first deposition she has given since dozens of women came forward with allegations of sexual assault against her husband.

The women all claim that Cosby deliberately made his defense team paint them as liars after they came forward accusing him of sexual misconduct.
