The Rock's 'Fast & Furious' Spin-Off Is Official And It Looks Like Vin Diesel Threw Some Shade

Black Ty won't be happy.

Tyrese has been ranting over Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's spin-off film based on his Fast & Furious character, Hobbs. The Rock hasn't made any responses on social media, but Tyrese claims he received a private email, which he ignored.

The singer/actor won't be happy today because it's official  — The Rock's Fast & Furious spin-off will be released on July 26, 2019, which pushes Fast & Furious 9 to 2020. Tyrese saw this coming, take a look at his post from yesterday.

According to Variety, the ninth installment of the franchise was initially scheduled to hit theaters on April 19, 2019. No one else from the cast has spoken out about the spin-off, but some folks are interpreting Vin Diesel's recent IG post as a dig to The Rock. See below:
