Bobby Brown Returns to Bobbi Kristina Following Performance
The show had to go on, but now Bobby Brown is back by his daughter's side. After performing at a previously scheduled festival in Los Angeles — where he was contractually obligated to appear — on Saturday, the singer immediately boarded a return flight to Atlanta to continue keeping vigil near Bobbi Kristina Brown's bedside, according to a source.
Brown, 46, left his daughter for the first time in nearly 10 weeks to sing at the Soul Food Festival in Los Angeles. He has been with the 22-year-old ever since she was found unresponsive in her bathtub in her Georgia home on January 31.
During his performance, Brown made sure to thank fans for standing by him during this trying time. "I want to thank all of y'all for coming out tonight, for supporting me and my family," he said after his opening song. "Rough times are rough times. Hard times are hard times. I don't know what the hell I'm going through right now, but I'm giving it to God."
Bobbi Kristina remains on life support and has not regained consciousness since she was first found unresponsive. Bobby Brown continues to be in charge of making her medical decisions.
