Here's Why Jennifer Hudson Got A Protective Order Against David Otunga

This is intense.

More details are coming out about the Jennifer Hudson and David Otunga split. J-Hud filed a protective order against Otunga, which he has already dismissed through his rep. However, TMZ has come out with new details about why J-Hud filed the order in the first place.

Take a look at the couple in happier times in the BET Breaks video above.

TMZ claims the order of protection stated David has exhibited "aggressive, threatening and harassing behavior toward me." Jennifer Hudson said, "I am now living in fear of further action David might take."
Allegedly, on Wednesday, Jennifer Hudson was at the recording studio and David could not reach her. He reportedly asked his son to tape his mom because he believed she is dating a producer, which Hudson denies. When they got home, "David was visibly angry, grabbed David Jr. by the hand and physically pushed Hudson out of the master suite. She claims their son, a makeup artist and an assistant all witnessed the incident."
In legal docs, Hudson claimed, "David left a gun and holster on their kitchen counter. He said it was a movie prop, but Hudson says, 'David knows that I am and have been very sensitive to firearms after my mother and my brother were murdered by a firearm.' She says, 'I believe that he left it out to taunt, intimidate and frighten me, which he absolutely accomplished.'"
Reportedly, they broke up several months ago but they both want primary custody of their son. However, they have not been able to reach an agreement and "the order of protection gives Hudson exclusive possession of their residence and orders David to stay away from her and their son." Jennifer also wants the legal right to make decisions regarding their son.
David has denied all allegations.
Sadly, threats of domestic violence are something Hudson likely takes very seriously given her family history: her brother, mother and nephew were killed in 2008 by her sister's estranged husband William Balfour. In 2012, Balfour was convicted on three counts of first-degree murder.
