KeKe Palmer Says She Was 'Spooked' When 'Bachelorette' Star Mike Johnson Asked Her Out On Live TV
After being ambushed by romantic suitor and Bachelorette star Mike Johnson on national TV, KeKe Palmer has responded to his invitation — and she isn't beating around the bush.
When her Strahan, Sara and KeKe co-hosts, Michael Strahan and Sara Haines, asked her if she's decided to entertain his advance, the Hustlers star simply replied, "No."
"I get real spooked about entertainers or reality [stars]," she admitted. "I don't know, it really scares me to date people in the industry — that's No. 1. No. 2: He asked me in front of everybody."
As previously reported, Johnson randomly asked Palmer out while the three co-hosts interviewed him on the daytime talk show. Seconds before, he briefly touched on his short-lived relationship with pop star Demi Lovato before turning his attention to the actress.
"I felt ambushed," she added. "I felt like it was a big ol' gag."
