Allen Payne (Gee Money) - Playing Nino Brown's right-hand man had to be tough, especiailly seeing as he didn't make it to the end of the film alive. Needless to say, Allen Payne's career took the opposite direction as he had a pretty affluent career after the film. He went on to star in The Cosby Show, Jason's Lyric and A Vampire in Brooklyn. Chris Rock (Pookie) - Before making it big in the acting world, Chris Rock played a former crackhead in New Jack City. Following the film, his career took off.
