British Actress and Her Two Sons Found Dead

EastEnders' Sian Blake's boyfriend and alleged killer fled to Ghana.

Sian Blake, a British actress who gained prominence from the show EastEnders, and her two young sons, Zachary, eight, Amon, four, were found dead after they went missing nearly three weeks ago. The three were found buried in the backyard of their family home, and Scotland Yard reveals they died of head and neck injuries.

The bodies of Blake and her sons were found in Kent, England, twenty days after they disappeared on December 13th.  Police continue to hunt for Blake’s boyfriend Arthur Simpson-Kent, who has reportedly fled to Africa after being questioned by police.

Earlier this week the 48-year-old, who was described as “high risk,” by police officials, was pictured arriving in Ghana just as it was revealed that Blake’s family had accused him of domestic violence in the weeks leading up to the murders.  Scotland Yard refuses to confirm the alleged murderer's whereabouts, saying only that “this continues to be one line of investigation and for operational reason we are not prepared to discuss this further at this stage.

Blake’s sister said that the actress was planning to leave Simpson-Kent after a history of domestic violence, and called for the man to be “brought back to justice.”  She went on to say, "I want him to face justice and explain why. It's my nephews more than anything. My brother is angry. My cousins are angry...They are angry about Sian, but the boys have devastated us. We have lost a generation. We can never replace them."

Blake starred on the popular British soap opera EastEnders from 1996 and 1997. She went on to play minor roles in other television shows, including cult-favorite Skins, before retiring to become a sign language teach and interpreter.
Our condolences are with her family.
