Stevie J Can Get Out of Rehab, But It’ll Cost Him Big
Stevie J has made a big decision in his $1.1 million federal child support cast. According to Bossip, the reality star is following the judge's orders and will admit his guilt in the case and avoid going to trial.
Judge Paul Crotty ordered Stevie out of cocaine rehab and back to court for the hearing next week.
"It is hearby ordered that the conditions of the defendant's bail are hereby modified to permit him to leave the inpatient drug treatment program to which he is currently admitted for the purpose of appearing before this court for the change of plea proceeding," Judge Crotty wrote in the court documents.
Stevie was accused of failing to pay the monthly court-ordered $8,557 for his son and daughter for a series of years. As of 2014, the feds reported that he owed $1,107,412. The producer pled innocent and has been out on bail.
Since these reports went public, Stevie has remained adamant that he was in the right, saying the case was "b*****t," and he was a good father to his children. However prosecutors found him slipping when he tested positive for drugs. He later admitted that he sniffed cocaine twice earlier this year.
