Solange's Business Partner Armina Mussa in ICU After Stabbing
Solange Knowles’ business and creative partner Armina Mussa, 24, is in critical condition after she was stabbed 10 times on Wednesday, Nola.com reports.
The police have arrested and booked a suspect, 26-year-old Arronesia Christophe, for second-degree murder after allegedly stabbing Mussa “outside a home in the 2200 block of N. Derbigny Street” in New Orleans. Courthouse sources reveal that Solange attended Christophe’s first appearance at Orleans Parish Criminal Court on Thursday.
It is not clear what relationship Christophe had with Mussa, if any.
A rep for Solange tells Billboard that Solange was in Los Angeles at the time or location of the incident, but she rushed back to New Orleans as soon as she heard the devastating news. She has been at the side of Mussa and her family ever since.
Mussa is the project director of Solange’s brand and creative platform, Saint Heron, and co-owner of New Orleans boutique Exodus Goods.
