Lark Voorhies's Husband Is a Creep, Says Her Mom
Lark Voorhies's new husband, Jimmy Green, isn't doing a great job making nice with his in-laws, at least according to the actress's mother, Patricia Voorhies. But the Saved by the Bell star didn't just marry your average loser, Patricia says, she tied the knot with a self-avowed member of the Bloods, who routinely throws up gang signs during their family squabbles.
TMZ reports that Green has been crashing with his new wife at her mom's house for months, violating her rule to head home before lights out. As for why the newlyweds aren't living under the same roof in the first place, Patricia says it's because her daughter is mentally and emotionally fragile and under doctors' care.
Patricia has been granted a temporary restraining order against her son-in-law, who admits to his gang affiliations but denies ever threatening her.
According to TMZ, Green is also wanted in Atlanta for threatening to kill a store owner. "We are obviously concerned about the allegations and we are looking into the matter," Voorhies's rep Jennifer Wolfson said. "Lark feels these allegations are not true and would like this cleared up as soon as possible."
