Lamar Odom Is in 'Fragile State' After Two Emergency Surgeries
In the past week and a half Lamar Odom has gone from being in a coma to regaining enough of his consciousness and health to move on his own, say "I love you" to his two children and his estranged wife, Khloé Kardashian, and sign papers calling off their divorce. But Odom is far from being out of the woods, and remains in a "fragile state" following his drug overdose.
Odom underwent two emergency surgeries on Thursday, TMZ reports, likely connected with pneumonia. "Lamar is in a very fragile state," the source reveals. "The infection, that is being aggressively treated with strong intravenous antibiotics, is unfortunately not getting better. There are many concerns about his health."
Another source adds, "Everyone in the family is texting different people, telling them to pray for him. They haven't said what is wrong with him, but everyone is very concerned." The source continues, "They knew that there could be setbacks and complications, and that's what we're seeing. He's in everyone's prayers right now because he's definitely not out of the woods. He's in God's hands."
Odom is said to be in need of a kidney transplant as well.
