Remember Monique Pressley, the badass attorney who joined Bill Cosby's legal team last year and caused so much of a stir that it seemed inevitable that Angela Bassett would play her in a movie one day?

Well, you won't be seeing her by Cosby's side the next time he's in court.

According to the Root, Pressley is no longer on Cosby's squad of power lawyers, and has left the case. Pressley has not said why she’s dropped Cosby as a client, but she's the second attorney in less than a year to do so, which doesn't look good for the accused rapist.
We don't know what Pressley's going to be doing next, but hopefully this isn't the last we'll see of her in the public eye.
