A$AP Rocky, Forest Whitaker and More Play Our '90s Flashback Game

The stars of Dope on their favorite artists and movies from the decade.

Dope is the ultimate mash-up of '90s flavor and millennial life, so of course we had to quiz the young stars of the film about their favorite music and movies from hip hop's Golden Era. A$AP Rocky, Kiersey Clemons, Shameik Moore, Quincy Brown and Chanel Iman — all of whom were infants when Nas's Illmatic came out — clearly did their homework to be a part of this film, which is steeped in '90s pop culture and style.
Plus, old school cats Forest Whitaker and Rick Famuyiwa — who, respectively, produced and directed Dope tell us the jams and cinema classics that take them back to the decade when they came of age.
Watch the stars of Dope play our '90s game below. The film hits theaters tomorrow!
