John Legend, Chrissy Teigen and Denzel Washington Coming to TV

The Oscar winners prepare to tackle the small screen.

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen's relationship is already the obsession of anyone who reads a gossip magazine or blog and will now be the inspiration of a new sitcom.
The couple are working with ABC on a new romantic comedy series entitled Ordinary People, which will follow an interracial couple with different personalities and big plans for the future. Music will play a large part on the show, according to Variety.com.
Black-ish creator Kenya Barris will executive produce the show, which will be written by Survivor's Remorse writer Tracy Oliver. We'll probably see this one on the primetime lineup sometime next year.
Meanwhile, on the other end of the TV spectrum, Denzel Washington announced on Thursday that he will be adapting August Wilson's entire body of work, ten plays, for HBO. The Oscar-winning actor will star in one, Fences (he already won a Tony Award for the Broadway version), and executive produce the other nine for the premium cable network.
Two of our favorite stars with two very different projects coming to the small screen — we can't wait!
Watch John Legend gush about his wife on The Queen Latifah Show below and it will be obvious why these two are made for television:
