Terrence Howard Accuses Ex-Wife of Blackmail
Terrence Howard is fighting back against his ex-wife Michelle Ghent after Ghent sued him for even more spousal support. The Empire star claims Ghent is blackmailing him with pictures and videos he fears will ruin his career, TMZ reports.
Sources say Howard will file formal legal documents this month claiming he has already provided more cash than required to his ex because she was threatening to go public with the photos and videos, one of which reportedly shows Howard in the shower.
According to the actor's lawyer, Ghent is entitled to six months worth of spousal support and he has already provided five years' worth — evidence of blackmail. Earlier this year, Howard also claimed Ghent was sending him death threats over Instagram.
Considering Howard's career, at least at the moment, is playing an unscrupulous and philandering record label boss, it's hard to imagine what these image-ruining photos contain. Still, we're sure the newlywed and father-to-be doesn't want his past life haunting his new one.
