Samuel L. Jackson has never been one to hold his tongue. Over the weekend, the outspoken actor challenged other celebrities to call out the "violence of the racist police" in the wake of the Michael Brown and Eric Garner injustices.

The Django Unchained actor specifically targeted stars who took on the viral ALS Ice Bucket Challenge earlier this year: "All you celebrities out there who poured ice water on your head, I challenge you to do something else," he said in a video message posted to his Facebook account.

In the video, posted the day following the weekend million march protests in Washington, D.C., and New York City, Jackson began singing a song mimicking Eric Garner's last words, "I can't breathe." He sang, "I can hear my neighbor cryin' 'I can't breathe' / Now I'm in the struggle and I can't leave. / Callin' out the violence of the racist police. / We ain't gonna stop, 'til people are free. / We ain't gonna stop, 'til people are free."

At the end of the video, Jackson urges other celebrities to continue the wave and join him in singing. The post has since been shared more than 22,000 times.
